Artist Statement
The making of this caligramme was very time-consuming. It was fun to see the whole image come together with just words, but also frustrating to make all those words legible to read. My mission was to make this classic face visible through the writing and also give different textures and shapes to enhance the overall design of this caligramme. The words within this design pertain to Marilyn Monroe's life including her accolades and some fun facts about her life. Enjoy!
